And it still wasn't enough.
Cleveland fans weren't too happy Wednesday night after losing Game 3 of the National Basketball Association finals against Golden State.
"You definitely tip your hat", said Cleveland star LeBron James. "We just don't know".
"I know how to play the game", Iguodala said.
LeBron James scored 33 points and Kevin Love 20 for the Cavs, who have fallen into a hole in which no team has ever emerged. Rodney Hood made the most of his playing time with 15 points and six rebounds off the bench.
"When a guy like Kevin Durant is hitting these shots, it's a joy to watch". The effort to spread the ball around was concerted as James logged nine first-half assists. But third quarters have kind of been our Achilles heel all year. "I think everybody gets excited for the small parts of the game, and Steph is one of those guys that just brings that joy".
They were asking for trouble. "Yeah, it's pretty nice, a pretty nice luxury as a coach, that's for sure". That's what this team does. They sensed when he was dancing into shots and stuck their hands straight up, only for Durant to rise a little higher and make the shot over them.
He's not conceding. But he is clearly tipping his cap to the Warriors, his nemesis in each of the last four Junes and a team that's one win shy of beating him in three of those series.

The Golden State Warriors can win their third championship in the last four years with a victory here.
There are nights when the Warriors win by the grace of their fluid offensive scheme, and others when they rely on the singular exploits of Kevin Durant.
But a lot of the angst won't be about the Warriors, it will be about James. Game 4 is Friday night.
James could be packing up and leaving his native northeast OH once again.
Golden State will get their first chance to close out the series on Friday in Cleveland.
A bounce here, a couple stops there, the Cavs could be leading in these finals and the conversation would be different. If they don't, the noise regarding James leaving Cleveland for a new team will likely only grow louder. But he's not going anywhere, even mentally, until this series is over.
"It's been a great run", Lue said in a long answer that's worth your time if you've followed him and the Cavs since James came back to Cleveland in 2014. "Tomorrow I'll replay some plays and some moments, things of that nature".
As Warriors backup point guard Shaun Livingston was walking to the locker room after the game, he yelled: "That's the way to take all the air out of the building".
