Another year, another Assassin's Creed game leak.
As with any such leak, take it with a grain of salt until we receive official confirmation. According to the website, a "more than reliable" source sent them a picture of a keychain fob in packaging bearing the game's logo and title of the upcoming franchise entry.

The site's sources seemingly have confirmed that Odyssey will be bringing in dialogue options for the first time ever, not unlike the Mass Effect series from BioWare. As well, Schreier reports that Odyssey will let users play as a male or female protagonist, although these appear to be new heroes, not Bayek and Aya from Origins. If the leak holds water at all, we will for sure be hearing about it at E3.
With that in mind, it would be too early for Ubisoft to announce the game at this E3 if the plan is to release it in holiday 2019, so it's hard to say.
Ubisoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
This is a pretty plausible direction for Assassin's Creed after taking us to Egypt's Greco-Roman era in Assassin's Creed Origins, and lines up with rumours we heard from around this time past year.
