The 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame class is going to be a great one.
They'll join Dennis Rodman, Alex English and Adrian Dantley as the only former Mavs players to be in the Hall of Fame. He ranks right behind Kidd in all-time assists (10,335).
Kidd was selected by the Mavs with the second overall pick in 1994 when he went on to win the Rookie of the Year, and played for Dallas from 1994-96, briefly during the 1996-97 season, and then again from 2008-12 when he helped the franchise win its only National Basketball Association title.
The Class of 2018 will officially be announced Saturday night at the Final Four in San Antonio.

Hill also played in the league for 19 years, but saw many injuries throughout his career.
Nash had 10,335 assists and is ninth all-time with 8.5 assists per game.
It is unclear whether any of the other nine finalists, who include Ray Allen, Chris Webber and Rudy Tomjanovich, were selected for the Hall of Fame.
