According to sources, flight attendants caught Valerie Curbelo attempting to smoke in the bathroom.
When the aircraft landed in Sacramento, police took Curbelo into custody. Curbelo is now booked 3 counts of Felony criminal threats and her bail has been set at $75,000. She couldn't clearly say what she was anxious about or why she acted the way she did.
Curbello told Sacramento CBS affiliate reporter Marc Thompson, who spoke with Curbello at the Sacramento County Jail, that it was anxiety that had prompted her actions.
