I can not say enough how incredible this place was. We did some traveling within Costa Rica for a 10 day trip in December and stayed for 4 nights of our trip. We were originally concerned that we were staying in one place too long but could have stayed the whole time. First, Zoltan is a great host, he is friendly, welcoming, and provided us with some great recommendations. We explored the area in all directions from the house, and I'm sure there was still more to explore. There are some incredibly quiet and serene beaches nearby, great hiking spots and waterfalls, as well as local towns and Manuel Antonio National Park.
Just like the other reviews, you really should have a 4x4 rental car to get up the hill to the house (we found this was good to have in CR in general) and make sure you do the first drive in daylight, but after the first drive up we did not have any issues. The house itself is beautiful, with the main parts open to the air and the pool. The house itself is beautiful, with the main parts open to the air and the pool (15 -30 minutes). The kitchen / dining area is shared with Zoltan. The guest quarters are on one side of the house, with two bedrooms and bathrooms that are very private. They both have incredible views of the ocean and the surrounding mountains.

Chile, Chili, or Chilli? What's the Correct Spelling?
Note that while this is also the spelling of the South American country , that has an entirely unrelated origin and meaning. This is the spelling that feels the most "right" to me; even though it is a loanword that is not pronounced like it reads.
