Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl safety Kam Chancellor has officially signed a multi-year contract extension, the team announced Tuesday. The 29-year-old Chancellor will play the final year of a five-year, $29.323 million deal he signed back in 2013 next season.
With this deal, the Seahawks now have committed $123 million in guaranteed money to their secondary. The new deal guarantees that Chancellor will play his prime years with the Seahawks.
