Sources said NIA has summoned some separatist leaders for questioning following the revelations that Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Mohammad Saeed was funneling money to keep the pot boiling in the valley.
"Even though (Nayeem) Khan has raised questions over the veracity of the said clip (aired by the channel), his membership will remain suspended and the suspension will come into force with immediate effect in Srinagar and PoK chapter of Hurriyat".
The NIA will also verify allegations in a sting operation that showed some of the Hurriyat leaders talking about receiving money from Saeed and other Pakistani individuals.
Meanwhile, J&K authorities on Friday placed moderate Hurriyat group chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest, just before separatist-called protests were to take place in Srinagar.
