The New Yorker has presented what it perceives as increasing evidence House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes colluded with the White House to stop the investigation into Russian interference into last year's US election.
Rep. Adam Schiff is concerned about the timing of an article that claims to reveal who Devin Nunes's intelligence sources were with a letter from the White House inviting ranking members to view those intelligence documents.
There were indications that Nunes was coordinating his actions with the White House, which sent a letter to Yates's attorney, warning him that Yates should not testify about her communications with the White House about then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, whose telephone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak were monitored by USA intelligence agencies.
His announcement came shortly after the New York Times reported that two White House officials helped provide House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) with intelligence reports allegedly showing that communications of members of Trump's transition were picked up by incidental surveillance.
He previously served on Trump's transition team.
Instead, the White House continued to sidestep queries about its role in showing Nunes classified information that appears to have included transcripts of foreign officials discussing Trump's transition to the presidency, according to current and former US officials.
Mr. Cohen-Watnick is a former Defense Intelligence Agency official who was originally brought to the White House by Michael T. Flynn, the former national security adviser.
Britain's relationship with the European Union summed up in one tweet
It's a shame our nation has had to be destroyed to achieve it, but Nigel Farage has finally announced he's leaving the UK . If Brexit turns out to be a disaster , Nigel Farage will "go and live overseas , I'll go and live somewhere else".

Though Wilders said on election night that he was ready to talk coalition building, Rutte is highly unlikely to take him up on that.
Ford investing $1.2B in 3 Michigan plants, adding 130 jobs
Trump has at times promoted job announcements at the White House that had been previously planned or announced. Ford in January scuttled plans for a $1.6 billion facility in Mexico to move production of the Focus sedan.
We can perhaps expect Nunes to quibble with the definition of a "White House staffer" or what constitutes "any of [Trump's] aides".
- Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) March 30, 2017Nunes has faced criticism since the revelation that he secretly went to the White House last week, meeting with a source who gave him the information.
Ellis was person who showed NUNES the information.
The California Democrat said he had a "great sense of nostalgia" seeing Senate intelligence committee leaders holding a news conference together on Wednesday, saying that he had that relationship with Nunes up until last week.
Afterwards, Nunes emerges onto the White House lawn to speak to a gaggle of reporters waiting there. Nunes angered Schiff and other Democrats on the committee when he shared details about their investigation with the public and the White House before sharing it with them.
He added that his "smell test" remark was based on Nunes's words at the time.
"We had staff-to-staff discussions with their congressional affairs people", Nunes spokesman Jack Langer said.
